Welcome from the Convenors of the Cancer Pharmacists Group

The COSA Cancer Pharmacists Group (CPG) of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) is hosting their second ever combined Clinical Practice Course designed to support pharmacists working at all levels in the industry on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May 2025 at Crowne Plaza Melbourne. The weekend will see two simultaneous streams: a Foundation Stream designed to assist pharmacists who have a basic knowledge of cancer, and an Advanced Stream, an interactive, expert-led forum for pharmacists working at an advanced clinical level, who have a good understanding of oncology and/or haematology pharmacy practice.

Delegate Information

REGISTRATION DESK

The registration desk is located in the foyer space of the Pearl Riverfront Studios situated on the ground floor. The desk is attended at all times during the course from:

  • Saturday 3 May 7:45am (course commences at 8.15am) - 5.30pm

    Please allow plenty of time to register prior to program start

  • Sunday 4 May: 8:00am (course commences at 8.30am) - 3:40pm

Delegates should collect their name tag and other conference material on arrival. Delegates are required to wear their name tags to all sessions, catered breaks and the social function. 

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Delegates receive the following goods and services as part of their registration:

  • Access to all sessions 

  • Nametag and Lanyard 

  • Morning/Afternoon Teas & Lunches (Sat and Sun) 

  • Ticket to the Social Function on Saturday Evening 

  • Use of the Course App


WORKSHOP GROUPS
All delegates will be provided badges with a coloured lanyard. Blue colour are to identify Foundation Stream delegates and Green colour to identify Advanced Stream delegates.

Advanced Stream delegates will attend all sessions in Studios 4&5. Foundation Stream delegates will start each morning in Studios 1-3 before being divided into rooms for the Group A or Group B morning sessions and then again into Groups 1, 2 and 3 in the afternoons.

SOCIAL FUNCTION
All delegates are invited to the networking function on Saturday evening. If you have not signed up yet, please see the registration desk prior to lunch on Saturday. The networking function tickets are included in the full registration fee. 

SPECIAL MEAL REQUESTS
If you have nominated for a special meal (dietary requirements, vegetarian, etc.) please identify yourself to the venue catering staff. All requests have been passed onto the venue and will be catered for accordingly.

WI-FI
Complimentary Crowne Plaza wifi is available for delegates for the duration of the course.

PARKING AT
Valet parking is available for $70 per day. Alternatively, guests may choose to self-park at $17 per exit. Rates are for a continuous 24-hour period. Please speak to Concierge to redeem above rates and note the carpark height limit is 1.9m.

INSURANCE
The hosts and organisers are not responsible for personal accidents, any travel costs, or the loss of private property and will not be liable for any claims. Delegates requiring insurance should make their own arrangements.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates of attendance can be downloaded via your online profile at the end of the conference.
