The Cancer Pharmacists Group (CPG) is committed to promoting and developing the role of the pharmacist in cancer services. It is the only national multidisciplinary forum for pharmacists working in cancer services in Australia.

As an integrated group within the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) we work within a truly multidisciplinary society with experienced clinicians to promote cancer care within Australia.

A major goal of the CPG is to facilitate training, education and research within both pharmacy and cancer services helping pharmacists develop and hone the knowledge and skills to advance their careers and practice.

The CPG aims to provide quality education through a range of courses and seminars for pharmacists working in all areas of cancer and at all levels of experience. The CPG is actively involved in the COSA Annual Scientific Meeting- (ASM) promoting multidisciplinary cancer care learning and development.

COSA CPG Education 2024

The Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Cancer Pharmacists Group (CPG) are excited to announce details of its major educational event, the 2024 COSA CPG Clinical Practice Course for Cancer Pharmacists.

This two-day intensive course is targeted at pharmacists at all levels. The weekend will run two simultaneous streams: a Foundation Stream designed to assist pharmacists who have a basic knowledge of cancer, and an Advanced Stream, an interactive, expert-led forum for pharmacists working at an advanced clinical level, who have a good understanding of oncology and/or haematology pharmacy practice.

The CPG believes this new format for its Clinical Practice Course for Cancer Pharmacists will enhance the interactive and informative educational opportunities available to attendees and will allow delegates at all experience levels to network with other pharmacists from around the country.
